I'am working in a handcraft that operates in an eco-friendly manner. For this type of printing, plants, herbs, vegetables, and obsolete rusty objects are the primary materials. Fabrics and papers can be secondhand. In fact, it is often preferable to use secondhand fabrics, as the worn texture of the fabric results in a better print.

For my work, I travel to various places that represent human interventions in the natural environment. Other locations are historical and cultural sites.

On-site, I research site-specific plants and rusty remnants.

These are archived in their role as fossils on cotton sheets through a steam-pressure process.

A local environment-chronicle is being created

Botanical Ink Design

slow fashion
printed by natural mordant
on eco-friendly, fairtrade

Every piece gives a statement about human behavior about our green environment. Like every leaf is every shirt unique and tells a story about the plants life's which printed on. Every shape of a plant gives a report out of it's daily surroundings.

eco-friendly, selfmade material

I am producing and using eco-friendly, self-made materials. Therefore, I use plants, herbs, recycled materials, and secondhand items. This time, I crafted brushes from plants and created ink from earth, leaves, and rusty nails. The fabrics come from secondhand stores or flea markets. Later, I incorporated moss cultures and roots that grew on the artwork.
